Company Profile

JRN Investment, also known as Jambo Diaspora Investment Group, was founded in 2013 and officially started conducting business in May 2015 with 202 members drawn from across 25 states in America. To achieve effective management and for an enhanced service delivery to the many members, the group is divided into 8 regions with 2 elected representatives from each region. The Representatives in turn elect the Board of Directors to form the powerful executive board comprising of six (6) leaders.

Within the first two years of operation and based on members’ unfailing contributions, the group was able to acquire its flagship Phase 1 property of thirty seven (37) acres of land in Kitengela, Kajiado County, Kenya, worth over  Kshs. 111,000,000. The land was subdivided into 209 plots complete with individual title deeds, which were allocated to all members according to the number of shares purchased. The agreed upon short term organizational goal for Phase 1 is to build a Diaspora gated community neighborhood marked by modern single family homes for each of the members. Another seven (7) acres adjacent to the divided area has been earmarked for future commercial development with each member holding shares in this commercial enterprise.

Phase 2 for the group was launched in September 2017. By early 2018, the group had increased its membership to 300 members from across 26 American states and from Kenya. The main stated goal for Phase 2 is to engage in a real estate development project with a view to building a mix of affordable apartments and duplexes in line with one of the pillars of Kenya’s Top Four Agenda, the noble goal of providing ‘affordable housing’ for all.
